European Rally Models

This is our own series of models, using standard 1/43 scale diecast IXO and Trofeu rally cars as a base, but with our own produced decals added to give models of the more exclusive and rare rally cars that have competed in Europe in the last three decades.

We have only produced a maximum of 50 sets of each decal, thus once they have sold out the model will not be repeated again. All models are supplied fully built up, ready to display, or are available to decal up yourself.

E1a Ford RS200 “Belga” 24hrs Yres Rally

Robert Droogmans competed in the 1984 Belgian Championship in this Belga sponsored Ford RS200, eventually becoming Belgian Champion. Our model is available from three different events, C200 MNO was used on the 24hrs Ypres Rally and also the Bianchi Rally, while the recce car, C200 NVW had to be pressed into service on the Circuit of Ardennes as the rally car had been crashed on the practice stage. Robert Droogmans competed in many European events in the Ford Belgium / Belga Cigarettes Group 4 Escort. NUG573V which was hired from Jeff Churchill in the UK, who also hired cars to Ford France in the early 1980’s. This car has since been restored to its original condition by Chris Jacob in Belgium. Hannu Mikkola / Arne Hertz used, MTW200P, a David Sutton Cars prepared MK2 on the classic Belgian event, the Rallye Du Condroz. The Belga Cigarettes sponsored car retired eventually due to engine problems. Based on the Trofeu MK2 Escort and limited to 50 models.

E6 Ford Escort MK2 RS1800 Firestone Rally 1976

Timo Makinen / Henry Liddon used MTW200P in an earlier reincarnation on the Firestone Rally in Spain during 1976. This car prepared by Boreham was on its way to the TOTAL Rally, and was fitted with the forward facing front mudflaps fitted, as well as door handles on the roof and boot, our model limited to 50 models, has these items faithfully reproduced also.

During 1978 it was used along with STW130R on the French Rally Championship, run by Boreham and crewed by Jean-Pierre Nicholas / Vincent Laverne.
