Following on from BRL01
Roger Clark Escort RS1800 “COSSACK” and BRL 02 Jimmy
McRae 1987 Manx Rally, the next release in the British Rally Legends
series will be available in September 2006:
BRL 03 Ford Escort MK1 , Chris Sclater / Martin Holmes 1971 RAC
Rally. BLG 99K was a gold coloured rallycar, sponsored by Withers
of Winsford and Goodyear tyres.
Limited and numbered special edition of 1200 models in gatefold

/ VK sponsored WRC Focus of Mathew Wilson from this years
Monte Carlo Rally. As it’s an Eddie Stobart rallycar,
these are expected to sell very fast. Guide price £22.99.

Latest release from Trofeu, TR1019 Ford
Escort RS1800, Safari Rally 1977 |

Latest from Trofeu in Portugal, is TR1019,
the 1977 Safari winning Escort of Bjorn Waldegaard / Hans Thorzelius.
But this is not just another Escort, the guys at Trofeu have altered
their Escort casting, to incorporate some of the unique features
on this Safari car:
• Due to the long distances covered on this event, the car
had twin fuel tanks in the boot, these are faithfully reproduced
with twin filler caps,set into the boot lid
• Front mounted “roo bar”, with the correct number
of Cibie spotlmaps mounted on it (Only 3)
• Water deflector monted below the front bumper.
• Rear mounted brackets to allow filling of the fuel tanks,
and to help extract the car from mud holes.
Yet again, Trofeu have produced an excellet and well detailed model,
